What is AI 4 LIFE: Biotech Future Forum?
AI 4 LIFE: Biotech Future Forum (hereinafter: the “Conference”) is an event that brings together experts, representatives of institutions, companies, and the scientific and research community in the field of biotechnology and related disciplines.
The Conference website serves as an informational and registration platform through which users can access information about the program, speakers, and other relevant information, as well as register for participation.
The website is managed by the Office for Information Technologies and eGovernment (hereinafter: the “Organizer”).
Participant Registration
Registration for participation in the Conference is carried out via the registration form on the Conference website.
During registration, the following personal data are collected:
- first and last name
- email address
- country of residence
- ID card number (for citizens of the Republic of Serbia) or passport number (for foreign nationals)
- organization name
- position
These data are necessary for participant identification and their participation in the event, including enabling access to the venue where the Conference is held.
By entering data and registering, the user is deemed to have been informed of and to have accepted these terms and the privacy policy.
Purpose of Data Processing
Personal data are processed solely for the purpose of:
- registering and keeping records of participants,
- enabling access to the event venue.
The data will not be used for other purposes.
Legal Basis for Processing
The processing of personal data is based on:
- the consent of the individual – Conference participant (event registration)
Access to Data and Data Sharing
Access to personal data is granted to:
- authorized persons of the Organizer
- engaged persons providing technical and IT support for the registration system
These persons process data exclusively in accordance with the Organizer’s instructions and for the purposes defined in this document.
Data are not shared with third parties.
Data Retention Period
Personal data are retained until the end of the Conference, after which they are permanently deleted or anonymized, unless there is a legal obligation to retain them for a longer period.
Photography and Video Recording
During the Conference, photography and video recording may take place.
Recorded materials may be used for the purpose of informing the public and promoting the Conference and related events via websites, social media, and other communication channels of the Organizer.
By participating in the Conference, participants are deemed to have been informed and to have consented to such processing of personal data.
Rights of Data Subjects
The data subject has the right to:
- request access to their data
- request correction of inaccurate data
- request deletion of data
- object to processing

Data Security
The Organizer applies appropriate technical, organizational, and personnel measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
Use of the Conference Website
Users are required to use the Conference website in accordance with applicable regulations.
The following is prohibited:
- providing inaccurate data
- misuse of the registration system
- attempts of unauthorized access
The Organizer reserves the right to restrict or disable access in case of misuse.
Amendments to the Terms
The Organizer reserves the right to amend these terms and the privacy policy at any time.
All changes will be published on the Conference website.
Notice on Personal Data Processing
Personal data processing is carried out in accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection (“Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia”, No. 87/18).
The data controller is the Office for Information Technologies and eGovernment.
